Needs Network
Creighton’s Corner PTA strives to make activities available for all students. To that end, we offer ASEP free of charge to students whose families are members of the CCE Needs Network. If you would like to donate to help cover the cost of participation for these fellow Colts, you may do so by selecting a donation amount below. Your donation will be set aside for the CCE Needs Network Scholarship Fund and will not be used as part of the general PTA fund. Thank you for your support of ASEP and the CCE Needs Network!
How This Works
Find your classes in the Course Catalog and Register for them. You can register for multiple classes at a time, but only one child at a time. On the Registration page, you can filter the classes by Day and Grade.
You’ll receive an email once you have registered, and another email once your payment has been processed. If you need a receipt, please email assist@schooltwist.com and write CCE in the email’s subject header. If you want to pay via check, please contact the ASEP Coordinator at asep@creightonscornerpta.
Classes are taught by CCE teachers and staff. The grade levels for each class are also listed below the class name. There will be capacity limits on class sizes, so sign up as soon as possible to avoid missing out! There are different types of classes for every grade level, and cost and number of weeks for the classes can vary. You can register for as many classes as you would like!
Getting to the Activity
-
At school dismissal time, ASEP students will go to the gym where their ASEP class instructor will meet them. Once the entire class has arrived, the instructors will take their classes from the gym to their specified class location.
-
Email both the main office (CCEDismissals@lcps.org) and the ASEP instructor if your student will not be attending their ASEP class. This is the only way to ensure accountability of all students. NOTE – The ASEP Coordinator email account is not monitored during the day.
Class Dismissal Procedures
- Students will be walked to the main entrance of the school by their ASEP instructor and should be picked up at the school’s main entrance unless otherwise noted by the ASEP instructor. No one is allowed to enter the school to pick up their student.
-
Students who are 10 years of age or older may walk themselves home, with parent approval.
-
An authorized adult must sign each child out of his/her class. Please have your ID ready to show the instructor before signing out your child. Parents/guardians must show an ID the first two weeks or until the teacher recognizes the parent/guardian. Your child will only be released to a person listed on their registration form. If someone other than a parent or previously authorized person is picking up your child, parents must email the update to both the ASEP teacher and the school (CCEDismissals@lcps.org) by 12pm the day of class.
Late Pickup Policy
- Please pick-up your student promptly at 4:00pm. Failure to pick your student up on time will result in a $10 late fee. The late fee must be paid in full prior to your student’s next class. Late fee payments can be made through Memberhub.
- After two (2) late pick-ups or if you are more than 15 minutes late, the PTA reserves the right to terminate your student’s participation in the program without a refund. In addition, failure to pay the late fee will result in your student not being able to participate in future After School Enrichment Program classes.
REFUNDS
- Please choose your classes carefully. There are no refunds for withdrawals and credits will not be issued. There will be no refund if a student is disenrolled at any point once the class begins.
- If a class must be canceled due to low enrollment, you will receive a refund from the PTA.
Policies
- Please review the ASEP policies and LCPS Code of Conduct with your student.
- I understand the following Behavior Policy and agree to it when I sign my student(s) up for an ASEP class: Cooperative behavior makes enrichment programs fun and safe for all. If a student is seriously disruptive or unsafe during class, the first time is a warning and parents are contacted. The second time, the student may not continue with the program, with no refund. I have confirmed that my student is motivated to take the registered class(es) in order to create a good experience for all involved.
- The PTA reserves the right to disenroll a student from ASEP if the PTA deems their behavior is threatening or dangerous toward another student or a teacher. No refund will be given, even if behavior warnings were not given.
- I will inform the instructor if my child needs reasonable accommodations in order to participate in activities. In the event of a medical emergency, the teacher will call 911 and contact parent(s)/guardian(s).
- Low Enrollment Cancellation: I understand that if the class I enroll my student in is canceled due to low enrollment, I will receive a refund, or have the option for 24 hours to be placed in another class. If I do not respond via email within 24 hours, I will automatically receive a refund.
- There are NO makeup days if your child is absent from school.
Financial Aid
If you have been pre-approved to receive financial aid by CCE’s Parent Liaison, Lisa Figueroa, you are eligible to receive one free class per student. Please make sure you check the financial aid box during the registration process. If you are signing up for more than one class per child, the class with the higher cost will be given as the free class. Eligible families may receive financial aid for one class per child, per academic year. Please contact the Parent Liaison for additional information and to begin the eligibility determination process.
